Phenethylammonium iodide
39,40€ – 477,76€
2D layered perovskites formed by inserting bulky alkylammonium cations (also known as organic spacers) in-between the anionic layers exhibit significantly improved resistance to moisture and heat. Phenethylammonium iodide (PEAI; CAS Number 151059-43-7) is a single aromatic ring organic spacer that has successfully been used as a 2D additive in organic-inorganic hybrid halide perovskites affording superior optoelectronic quality and enhanced stability (Lee et al., 2018). PEAI was also found the best organic halide salt for back-contact modification in tailored inverted PSCs (Li et al., 2020).
Greatcell Solar Materials’ Phenethylammonium Iodide has a purity level of >99% for consistent results and superior performance thanks to an extremely low moisture content and a reproducible production process.
